Rta Audio Software

We recommend that the RTA is run on a Pentium II 233MHz or better machine with at least 64Mb of memory and a suitable sound card and a graphics system capable of supporting 256 colours. The RTA runs on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP The demo period for this software will run out after 10 days. REW is free room acoustics and audio device measurement and analysis software for room, loudspeaker and device responses. The audio measurement and analysis features of REW help you optimise the acoustics of your listening room, studio or home theater and find the best locations for your speakers, subwoofers and listening position. Tuning a car audio system requires the use of an RTA and an RTA microphone. An RTA ( Real time analyzer ) allows us to use an equalizer and adjust each octav.

Before downloading and installing the DM-RTA software you need to power up your DM-RTA and connect it to your computer via the included USB cable. Download the software for Windows (PC) from the Downloads section of the DM-RTA product page here. After downloading, the DM-RTASmartAppPC Zip folder should be in your Downloads folder. Double click. Turn this on to listen to the incoming audio signal in the output. Note that this may cause feedback. Turning on the generator disables Audio Monitor. RTA includes a full-featured signal generator, which includes sine waves, square waves, white noise, and pink noise.

Audio Frequency Analyzer Software

REW is free room acoustics and audio device measurement and analysis software for room, loudspeaker and device responses. The audio measurement and analysis features of REW help you optimise the acoustics of your listening room, studio or home theater and find the best locations for your speakers, subwoofers and listening position. It includes tools for generating audio test signals; measuring SPL and impedance; measuring frequency and impulse responses; measuring distortion; generating phase, group delay and spectral decay plots, waterfalls, spectrograms and energy-time curves; generating real time analyser (RTA) plots; calculating reverberation times; calculating Thiele-Small parameters; determining the frequencies and decay times of modal resonances; displaying equaliser responses and automatically adjusting the settings of parametric equalisers to counter the effects of room modes and adjust responses to match a target curve.
