Join our community just now to flow with the file 6.60 PRO B10 and make our shared file collection even more complete and exciting. Install or use custom firmware on any 6.39 PSP PSP, PSP Slim, PSP 3000, PSP Go. Updated to 6.60, downloaded their PRO fix (I assumed what I needed for online play was in the Downloads section already, but at that time I didn't realize I needed PRO-C rather than B, so I ended up downloading PRO-B10), ran the PRO update then the flasher, deleting each one from my psp after they finished. PSP Firmware 6.60 aka PSP OFW 6.60 has been release not too long ago to the Playstation Community. PSP Firmware 6.60 was develop and release by Sony Playstation to offer a bit more security and features on the PSP and PSP Go System. But most of all this new PSP firmware 6.39 patches some of the 6.39 kernel that were made available before for. Step 1: First Things First. Unzip to desktop. Now take the 6.39 Downgrader and put it into PSP/GAME and Put the 6.20 update EBOOT into PSP/GAME/UPDATE. Also it says 6.39 but it still works on the others. Now place the PRO UPDATE (CFW) into PSP/GAME also. But if you want permanent psp cfw then put the permanent one into PSP/Game too. I'm currently running the 6.20 PRO B7. I tried to update it to 6.60 but my PSP decided it wouldn't accept the update so I have to stay with 6.20. When I download your files for 6.20, all the files in my PSP say they are corrupted. Only the permapatch works.
- What is LCFW ? LCFW a.k.a Light Custom Firmware is a custom firmware that is stored in the RAM as well as in the Flash0 and when the PSP is completely turned off it gets erased(only from the RAM). It’s the only CFW available for PSP 3000/GO/E1000 and PSP 2000 with TA088v3. It enables you to play PS1 games, PSP iso/cso games and to run homebrews and plugins.
- Is there a way to make this LCFW permanent? If your PSP supports 6.20 OFW there is so called Permanent Patch that can make the 6.20 Pro B10 permanent and it’s supported by any PSP that supports 6.20 OFW. If you have PSP 1000 or PSP 2000 with non-TA088v3 motherboard you can also install 6.39 Pro B10 or 6.60 Pro B10 and install CIPL. This will make the LCFW full CFW.
- What is Fast Recovery? After the initial installation of the LCFW there is easier way to turn it on. It’s to run the Fast Recovery.
- Can I delete the files after the installation? If you have installed 6.20 Pro B10 with a permanent patch or CIPL you can delete everything. If not than you can delete everything except the Fast Recovery.
- What PSPs are supported?
